R&Cs: DeLorean

Arguably the top French rapper there is, Booba has most notably been around for over two decades and adapted with the times. Equally as adept and adaptable, Rim’K can boast about the same longevity. His latest album, appropriately titled Mutant, has already offered some bangers for past ‘Roll & Coasters‘ playlists (cf. “Space Program” and “Loyal“). It’s high time I celebrated a legend and gave him the nod to lead one of these.

Hewa Yasin

I wrote as kid. (I'd die if you'd ever get your hands on those poems.) And I wrote as a teen. (We thought our raps would spearhead revolution.) I write these days to share my joys and perspectives. I am as subjective as they come. I found a bunch of blessed souls that are just as expressive. And Africa is all the better for it. (I think I never really changed.)
