I’ve been a fan of Ozuna for a few years now. His last album (Aura, 2018) is chock full of hits and an absolute delight. So it was a pleasant surprise when I got the notification of another guaranteed banger, “Luz Apaga”, with fellow Boricuas Lunay, Lyanno and Rauw Alejandro. And while we’re on the topic of surprises, how excited should we be that Falana is (at long last) gearing up to bless us with a new EP? Totally geeked, if you ask me!

Hewa Yasin

I wrote as kid. (I'd die if you'd ever get your hands on those poems.) And I wrote as a teen. (We thought our raps would spearhead revolution.) I write these days to share my joys and perspectives. I am as subjective as they come. I found a bunch of blessed souls that are just as expressive. And Africa is all the better for it. (I think I never really changed.)
