As we waive good bye to the first half of 2019, let us look forward to the second half. Personally, I’m looking forward to doubling up on what my partners and I have been able to pull off thus far. Speaking of doubling up, I came along with more choice selections from our Ghana’s brightest...Continue reading
Smoke x Mirrors
We all need music most times. Personally, I can’t think of a better time to listen to good music than during the commute. Therein lies the premise for “Smoke x Mirrors.” There’s nothing wrong with tuning into the radio. But, these are songs that have staying power in your minds and hearts!
For “Smoke x Mirrors”, I chose songs that I believe push the envelope, that are dope and that have lots of replay value.

Smoke & Mirrors, July IV
Once again, I’ve loaded this ‘Smoke & Mirrors‘ and I did so for several reasons. First of all, it was important for me to close July with a strong showing. Then, we’ve had so much good music that it would be unfair to you to not showcase it all as best as I could. In...Continue reading

It’s been a crazy hiatus (almost a year!), mostly due to life and adulting taking over. However, music should never take a backseat. Hopefully this playlist puts you all in a great mood. I selected a few of my recent favorites — Olamide, Tamaraebi, Yung L… — and songs that may not get as much...Continue reading

I’m just in time to close the month of October 😅😅😅. If you’ve been keeping up, then you will agree that this last quarter has been replete with good music projects. They are being released at a breakneck pace too! Certainly, we might need to gasp for air at some point; I just have this...Continue reading
Smoke x Mirrors ’18|11: II
This past week, I’ve been enjoying three projects that oozed with ridiculous quality and deserved many more headlines than they’ve gotten so far. Mr Eazi gave us the second volume in Life Is Eazi series. After bridging vibes from Accra to Lagos, this time around Eazi brings together the Lagos bustle with the London urban...Continue reading

I’m bringing back the ‘Smoke x Mirrors‘ series after a month-long absence. It’s been difficult to listen to anything but Nipsey, and I’m thankful for the time I was afforded before getting back on the saddle. There’s been an abundance of solid projects that I caught up with the past few days and that’s given...Continue reading
