R&Cs: Ayy Macarena

All things considered, Tyga has had a great year. In fact, you won’t find another hitmaker that has been as prolific without garnering the commensurate amount plaudits. (That may be due to the fact that he’s been churning out as an indenpendent.) To put a bow on the year, he’s maintaining the same energy of hits like “Go Loko” and “Mamacita” and channelling Los Del Río (remember them?) for “Ayy Macarena”. Here, we’re gonna keep the same energy from yesterday’s ‘Smoke x Mirrors‘ and keep it all rap.

I wrote as kid. (I'd die if you'd ever get your hands on those poems.) And I wrote as a teen. (We thought our raps would spearhead revolution.) I write these days to share my joys and perspectives. I am as subjective as they come. I found a bunch of blessed souls that are just as expressive. And Africa is all the better for it. (I think I never really changed.)
