Roll and Coasters: Lady

December is around the corner, and for artists it means a much-anticipated, albeit grueling event schedule. Based on how well their music fared throughout the year, these entertainers’ appearance/performance fees can be significant enough to offset any costs they’d incurred in that span and still leave a sizable capital. Rema, the new Naija pop sensation, is one of those that is sure to make serious bank next month. From “Dumebi” (off of his self-titled EP earlier this year) to “Lady” (off of the more recent Bad Commando EP), the budding superstar has taken country, region, and continent by storm; looks equipped and poised to make a name for himself on the world stage; and has been gaining advocates by the boatload on a daily basis. It was no-brainer to lead off with this chart-topper as we show love to our usual African suspect (Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Tanzania) along with Gambia and Sierra Leone. Enjoy!
