Roll and Coasters: Caught Up

Majid Jordan, almost a couple years removed their solid sophomore album, have just given the strongest indication yet that they’re gearing up for a third opus. Their new single, “Caught Up”, is a mellow delight wherein the Toronto outfit and their guest Khalid muse about the sway of LA. It’s a good set up to the overly chill tone of the playlist, though I couldn’t resist a few boastful tunes here and energetic tracks there. Finally, I’d be remiss not to give a special mention to Kweku Smoke. He’s an exciting and promising rapper from Ghana I discovered not so long ago (cf. the ferocious “Yedin“). He has just doubledtripled up with an assault of fiery singles; we’ve been put on notice!
