Roll and Coasters: Bonhomme de neige

R&Cs: Bonhomme de neige

It was just about a month ago that I was gushing about Rim’K and his latest opus, Mutant. “Bonhomme de neige” is the latest single and I can’t see any better joint to start this playlist (and the week) off. A few highlights: Kalash Criminel, Jay Park, Paigey Cakey and Sarkodie. (The latter brought along a gang of up-and-coming Ghanaian rappers, making a strong case about where the center of rap on the continent should be.)

I wrote as kid. (I'd die if you'd ever get your hands on those poems.) And I wrote as a teen. (We thought our raps would spearhead revolution.) I write these days to share my joys and perspectives. I am as subjective as they come. I found a bunch of blessed souls that are just as expressive. And Africa is all the better for it. (I think I never really changed.)
