R&Cs: No Me Acuerdo

If you keep hanging with me, you can feel bombarded with Spanish songs at times. I reluctantly took to Spanish because it was a requirement in school and then kept at it to keep up with my sisters. As for the “No Me Acuerdo” lead songbird… I’ve been fond of Thalía for over two decades, from the time she charmed the whole of francophone Africa and glued us to our TV sets for her Marimar telenovela. And her sustained excellence as an entertainment multi-hyphenate has kept me in awe. A no brainer!

Hewa Yasin

I wrote as kid. (I'd die if you'd ever get your hands on those poems.) And I wrote as a teen. (We thought our raps would spearhead revolution.) I write these days to share my joys and perspectives. I am as subjective as they come. I found a bunch of blessed souls that are just as expressive. And Africa is all the better for it. (I think I never really changed.)
