I’m Taking You to the Eighties, Vol. 3

I’m Taking You to the Eighties, Vol. 3

A couple of years ago, I had a lot of fun revisiting the eighties and its music. Also, I always felt that it was a decade that deserved more than two playlists and a DJ mix. Earlier this year, I sought out the help of a dear friend to put together the incredible playlist you’re about to delve into. She shared her favorite rock tunes of the eighties; you will quickly see in this edition that it spans pop rock, post punk rock and new wave. I also took the concept of the cover further: so, you will notice that there are two sides. Each side last just a little less than 45 minutes. It’s just as if you had a 90-minute cassette tape to pop in your deck. Should I say it? OK, I’ll say it. Enjoy!

You know how subtracting can end up to adding a lot more? With no TV in boarding school and a close friend working at a CD store, you bet Yoshi's already huge appetite for music was bound to grow beyond bounds. From there it's felt like feeding a stomach with no limits. Now Yoshi eats, speaks, drinks and sleeps music... If you catch one of the rare sightings of the Wraith you will notice his speech is made of lyrics, punchlines, bars, hooks and humming. And if you get to understand this unique language then who knows what type of universe you might discover beyond the music! Yoshi is one, Wraith is all... Don't forget the Wraith
