Diplo is incredibly adept at collaborations and genre-melding. As one third of the super group Major Lazer, the hip-hop DJ turned EDM mega-producer has had the opportunity to fuse electronic music with every energetic Afro-Caribbean style from afrobeats to reggae. Recently he’s joined forces with Mark Ronson (Silk City) and then with Labrinth and Sia (LSD). With “So Long”, Diplo has signaled his intent to play with country music and, word is, there’s a whole project to come. All good and well.
