Roll and Coasters: YUSO

Kudos to Kid Ink for bringing together one of the more exciting up-and-coming talents in Saweetie with her idol, the Hollygrove legend Lil’ Wayne. You couldn’t have a better line-up to properly execute the deliciously raunchy single “YUSO” off of Kid Ink’s parting shot album to 2018. It’s a tough act to follow but the 20+ tracks that follow are up to par.

I wrote as kid. (I'd die if you'd ever get your hands on those poems.) And I wrote as a teen. (We thought our raps would spearhead revolution.) I write these days to share my joys and perspectives. I am as subjective as they come. I found a bunch of blessed souls that are just as expressive. And Africa is all the better for it. (I think I never really changed.)
