R&Cs: Fukk Sleep

A premier (and dare I say underrated) lyricist, A$AP Rocky has continually pushed the envelope of his music and shown that a serious rapper can also be just assiduous as a fashion model and a thespian. And it all comes together in incredible ways on his videos. Case in point, “Fukk Sleep”, the single off of TESTING. The trippy masterpiece was directed by Diana Kunst who describes it as “an allegorical look at this society in which we live in.” Lest I forget, the playlist also includes solid efforts from Flatbush Zombies, Gringe, L-Tido, Token and Vince Staples.

Hewa Yasin
