Roll and Coasters: Lova Lova

It would be hard for me to put aside my bias about (and serious crush on) Tiwa Savage when it’s time to evaluate her music 😅. Thankfully, she’s been remarkably consistent throughout her career. And, with “Lova Lova”, she now appears to have yet another massive hit to propel her level up. Indeed, the likes of Davido and Wizkid might soon have company atop the African pop music mountaintop.

Here, “Lova Lova” leads an (almost) all-African set in the same vein as ‘African Beauty‘. The various artists hail from Burundi, Cameroon, Guinea, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania and Uganda. Big Narstie (UK) and Jaymax released new tunes that lent themselves well to the diversity herein.
