Roll and Coasters: Thru These Tears

R&Cs: Thru These Tears

Let’s pick up where we left off yesterday and tamp things down a little. I’ve been a fan of LANY‘s music since discovering them through the tabloids last year. “Thru These Tears” might be addressing the “breakup“, but above all it’s a great pop song. And it bodes well for their sophomore effort, Malibu Nights. I have a few other as-of-yet acclaimed artists like Paloma Faith and Ruel. I wish them a bright future; and we’ll be the biggest beneficiaries because…great music. Lastly, I’d like to bring attention to Hi-Rez channeling his outrage and grief in a compelling song/video calling for real change — a commendable to use his platform.

I wrote as kid. (I'd die if you'd ever get your hands on those poems.) And I wrote as a teen. (We thought our raps would spearhead revolution.) I write these days to share my joys and perspectives. I am as subjective as they come. I found a bunch of blessed souls that are just as expressive. And Africa is all the better for it. (I think I never really changed.)
