R&Cs: Avon Barksdale

Just like the earlier edition, the heat we’re witnessing ahead of the summer is pointing to a changing of the guard. French trap is in good hands with Ninho and Leto on the come up: “Avon Barksdale” is another hit collaboration between the two. In Tanzania, established acts like Ben Pol keep proving there is still a lot of untapped talent — I can’t wait to hear more from Wyse and ’em. Finally, does Toni Braxton age at all?

Hewa Yasin
