Haze and Phases 3

I would like to dedicate this playlist to the friends I’ve made around The Buck Stop. Let me explain… This one friend of mine said I shouldn’t be putting out playlists on Fridays as they should be reserved for new releases. So I let this one out as a major side-eye and to let him know he’s totally wrong. There’s this other friend of mine; I was told he was a cool cat; I only made an effort to reach out after listening to his (now-defunct) music podcast. Most of the song choices here are patterned after his song choices back then.

There’s yet another friend of mine who came up with the concept and egged me on to use a stock photo of sunlight beaming through trees as the cover artwork. Then there are numerous other friends who unwittingly became test subjects as I was fine-tuning the sequence of the playlist. I will concede that certain beverages and infusions were also part and parcel of the trials. Everybody was happy.

To all those friends, I say a big thank you! And to all you new friends, I invite you to join the mad circle and toast to my definition of zone-out music.
