Le magasin des envies, Vol. 8: A Night Out

Le magasin des envies, Vol. 8: A Night Out

I decided to give my spin on one of our more popular playlist series. (It’s also one of our more suggestive series; no coincidence there, right?) So I asked the series mastermind for the creative process behind it and quizzed a few dear lads and ladies and this is what we’ve come with. Picture this for a romance movie: guy meets girl, guy asks girl on a date, guy takes girl on a night out, the night ends in fireworks, and they lived happily forever after. What would the soundtrack to that sound like? Well, have a listen and let me know whether we got it right or not.

I wrote as kid. (I'd die if you'd ever get your hands on those poems.) And I wrote as a teen. (We thought our raps would spearhead revolution.) I write these days to share my joys and perspectives. I am as subjective as they come. I found a bunch of blessed souls that are just as expressive. And Africa is all the better for it. (I think I never really changed.)
