R&Cs: One Chance

This playlist has the feel and content of ‘Teintée Africaine‘. (You might remember that we’ve had one of those before.) Maybe the crew conversations unconsciously steered me, maybe it was just pure coincidence. However, I doubt anyone can complain with the results. Phyno leads the charge with his Kranium-assisted “One Chance”. Highlights include a couple of Kamer-Naija collaborations — it’s a wonder why we’ve not had more of those — and further evidence that Ghana’s KiDi is destined to be a superstar.

Hewa Yasin

I wrote as kid. (I'd die if you'd ever get your hands on those poems.) And I wrote as a teen. (We thought our raps would spearhead revolution.) I write these days to share my joys and perspectives. I am as subjective as they come. I found a bunch of blessed souls that are just as expressive. And Africa is all the better for it. (I think I never really changed.)
