Much like the homegrown current and traditional genres it picks from for the exquisite blends we enjoy, Afro Pop is as good with churning out fun, party jams as it is with crafting sexy ballads or smooth downtempos. That is the main focus in our last part of this Teintée Africaine edition — codenamed “Tourmaline”. We started you off with a solid “warm up” set and followed up with one for the “party” romps. We close out with what you could call a more intimate-y tone for the ultimate panafrican playlist for your playlists.

I wrote as kid. (I'd die if you'd ever get your hands on those poems.) And I wrote as a teen. (We thought our raps would spearhead revolution.) I write these days to share my joys and perspectives. I am as subjective as they come. I found a bunch of blessed souls that are just as expressive. And Africa is all the better for it. (I think I never really changed.)
