R&Cs: Beginning

As afrobeats music has gone full-blown international, the leaders in the genre have been busy keeping the music pipeline stays full. Their efforts have been a combination of new music and promoting fresh talent. An example of the latter is Mr Eazi’s incubator machine, emPawa, that has put the spotlight on many promising acts such as Joeboy. His latest single, “Beginning”, just confirms the overwhelming praise and airplay he’s been getting since “Baby”. So it’s deserved lead position on this playlist that features other talents poised to make noise over the next few years: EARTHGANG, Ms Banks, Nviiri The Entertainer and Tobe Nwigwe just to name a few.
