R&Cs: Broken Clocks

It seems ludicrous to start a dive into the best music 2017 had to offer. After all, the past is gone and we should always keep our eye on the now and what’s to come. But then, when things like SZA’s latest video (for “Broken Clocks” off of her 2017 incredible album, CTRL) surface, you’re reminded that there’s never a bad time to give the past its due reverence. Still, 2018 is proving to be a monster year and we’ll be outchea reveling in the good vibes. Ain’t that what the artists in this playlist want us to do?

Hewa Yasin
