I was bemused that, after all the buildup to its release, the promo push for Chance The Rapper’s debut studio album, The Big Day, was rather tame. Maybe it had to do with some of the dispiriting feedback, or the powers that be thought that the album — essentially a big celebration of love — spoke for itself. In any case, I’m psyched that they decided to put out a video for “Hot Shower”, a personal favorite that features one of the hottest rappers this year and another bundle of talent and personality. As a matter of fact, talent and personality is not lacking with all the characters assembled within this playlist. Hear for yourself.
