Simi, without a doubt a firm favorite around these parts<\/a>, has just released a new single, “Selense”, on her new label through Mr Eazi’s emPawa<\/a> incubator platform. (Does it portend a album of sorts or is it just a one-off? Time will tell… Also, we love it whenever those two work together – cf. “Doyin<\/a>” and “Surrender<\/a>“) With a music-making skill set that extends well beyond cooing, Simi has chosen to lean on the beloved throwback highlife sounds to drive a timely message about seizing the day.
