Les tissus Ndop des Bamil\u00e9k\u00e9, habitants de la savane camerounaise, en Afrique centrale, sont faits de coton tiss\u00e9 en bandes \u00e9troites. Si cette premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape est r\u00e9alis\u00e9e dans le nord du pays, non loin de Garoua, ce sont ensuite les femmes Bamil\u00e9k\u00e9 qui appliquent \u00e0 l\u2019aide de fil de raphia les motifs qui seront teints en r\u00e9serve \u00e0 l\u2019indigo. Le r\u00e9pertoire d\u00e9coratif tr\u00e8s vari\u00e9 s\u2019inspire \u00e0 la fois de motifs ornant les habitations traditionnelles et des dessins des Wukari du Nigeria, pays dont cette tradition textile est vraisemblablement originaire. Le Cameroun se caract\u00e9rise par le choix de motifs abstraits, le Nigeria par une figuration prenant pour mod\u00e8les humains, l\u00e9zards, l\u00e9opards\u2026 Ces \u00e9toffes sont utilis\u00e9es pour diff\u00e9rents rituels.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Avec tous les d\u00e9bats qu\u2019il y a autour de l\u2019appropriation culturelle, je trouve \u00e7a respectable qu\u2019Herm\u00e8s ait eu la d\u00e9cence de pr\u00e9ciser l\u2019origine de ces dessins.<\/p>\n<p>Ceci dit, est-ce que des fonds ont \u00e9t\u00e9 vers\u00e9s par la marque pour l\u2019exploitation de ce tissu traditionnel ? Si oui, \u00e0 qui ? De plus en plus sollicit\u00e9e pour son expertise en mati\u00e8re de marketing cr\u00e9atif, communication et nouveaux m\u00e9dias, elle devient consultante et accompagne des cr\u00e9ateurs, artistes et entrepreneurs bas\u00e9s dans\/ciblant les principaux march\u00e9s \u00e9mergents en Afrique francophone.
