R&Cs: Malibu Nights

I remember that Darius Rucker, back when he was tearing through the charts with Hootie & The Blowfish, admitted that he provoked arguments with his spouse because he found out he could write great songs out of strife. I say that to say this… Though, I wouldn’t wish the pain of heartbreak on anyone; you can’t deny that LANY’s second album (Malibu Nights), and its songs’ poignant lyrics as evidenced by the title track and the first single, has been a wonderful silver lining.

Hewa Yasin

I wrote as kid. (I'd die if you'd ever get your hands on those poems.) And I wrote as a teen. (We thought our raps would spearhead revolution.) I write these days to share my joys and perspectives.
